We are a correction.

Mettle is a small, independent jewelry brand. We started with silver chains because silver is the most honest metal in the industry and our partners in Jaipur have been working it for three generations.

The founding bet is simple: if you strip out the markup, the middlemen, and the moral compromises — jewelry can be beautiful, affordable, and a source of good. Most of the industry has decided otherwise. We think they’re wrong.

What we believe

• Price is a moral decision.
• The hands that make the thing deserve a named share of the revenue.
• No stone is worth funding a war for.
• The way to compete with legacy brands isn’t to out-market them — it’s to out-honest them.

Where this is headed

Silver chains and bracelets today. Earrings, pendants, wedding bands, and rings next. And with rings, the feature we’re quietly proudest of: an AI designer that lets you describe or sketch a ring, preview it photo-realistically, refine it, and then have it cast by our workshop. You won’t be picking from a catalog. You’ll be making the object.
